Stride ("we", "our", or "the app") is a productivity and habit tracking application. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication by Google).

Task Data: Your tasks, notes, completion status, photos, and habit tracking data are stored locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly enable cloud sync.

Photos: If you attach photos to completed tasks, these images are stored locally on your device. We do not access, upload, or share your photos.

Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage statistics such as app opens, feature usage, and crash reports to improve the app experience.

2. Advertising

Stride displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. This includes:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
• IP address (for general location)
• App usage data

3. How We Use Your Information

Your task data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. Account authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google), which uses industry-standard security practices. We do not store your password — it is managed entirely by Firebase.

• Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements
• Expo — for app updates and distribution

6. Children's Privacy

Stride is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
